Whilst Mr. Prabhu Kasaranenis family has been farming for three generations, he is a self-taught organic farmer who began growing heirloom Pragati turmeric in 2015, with assistance from the Indian Institute of Spice Research.
- HOW TO USE: Use this turmeric like youve never used turmeric before. Youll be looking for excuses to add it to your baking, to your roasted veggies, even your coffee! The simplest use for it is making a haldi doodh (also called turmeric lattes). To best activate the curcumin in turmeric, add a pinch of Aranya Black Pepper, which increases the curcumin absorption by 2000%.
