Cultivation:All our rice is grown in small family farms in the delta of Thessalonikis rivers and coastal areas. The relatively extensive sunshine in September and October in particular is conducive to the good nutrition of the grain which is important for its quality and nutritional value. Meanwhile, the abundant moisture, high temperatures and sunshine during the summer favour the growth and premium quality of rice. The soil has high water storing capacity and pH 6-6.5, which is considered excellent for farming.
