- GENTLE ADHESIVE: Silicone adhesive is gentle on skin and may be relocated without losing its adhesion. ULTRA-ABSORBENT: Multilayer absorbency for maximum absorption to help maintain an optimal wound healing environment.
- WATERPROOF: Water does not pass from the exterior to the wound. It is not submergible, for water may still enter through the sides if submerged. NOT for swimming or showers. For best results, change if wet.
- VERSATILE USE: The dressing may be used in a wide variety of situations, including: Venous ulcers, Pressure sores, Donor sites, 1st and 2nd degree burns, Lacerations, Pressure ulcers, Traumatic wounds, Surgical wounds, Skin tears, and on dry/necrotic wounds in combination with gels.
- NO LATEX: Re-tested for latex (ASTM D6499-18 Inhibition ELISA). Results show latex non detected.
Areza Sacral Ultra-Absorbent Foam with with Adhesive Border consist of a fenestrated silicone wound contact layer, a triple-layer ultra-absorbent pad, and a vapor permeable, waterproof polyurethane (PU) film backing. The multi-layer construction facilitates dynamic fluid management to provide an optimal moist wound environment healing known to promote faster wound healing. The dynamic fluid management may help reduce the risk of maceration. The gentle silicone layer can significantly minimize pain and trauma to the wound and its surrounding skin during dressing change. The two main absorbent layers- PU foam and ultra-absorbent polyacrylate, provides superior absorption and locks exudates away. The PU backing is waterproof and vapor permeable and may protect against contaminations by external fluids and organisms.
